1 · Who is responsible for your data

Polímeros Envases y Tapas Tapatíos S.A. de C.V., hereinafter “Polímeros Tapatíos”, with address at Calle 3 número 1138, Colonia Zona Industrial, C.P. 44940, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, is responsible for the use and protection of your personal data, in accordance with the Mexican Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.

2 · What data we collect

Only what you type in the quote request form:

• Name, so we know how to address you.
• Email or phone, so we can reply to you.
• Company, if you choose to provide it. It is optional.
• The content of your request: the products you selected, the quantities and any note you add.

We do not collect sensitive personal data, nor property or financial data, nor information about minors.

What stays in your browser

The quote you build is stored only on your own device, using the browser’s local storage. Nothing is sent to any server until you press send, and you can delete it whenever you want with the clear-quote button or by clearing your browsing data.

3 · What we use them for

Primary purposes, needed to serve you:

• Respond to your quote request or inquiry.
• Prepare and send you a commercial proposal.
• Follow up on the commercial relationship arising from your request.

Secondary purposes, which are not needed and which you may refuse without that affecting how your request is handled:

• Send you information about new products or catalog changes.
• Invite you to events or plant visits.

If you don’t want us to use your data for the secondary purposes, write to us at departamentodedatospersonales@polimerostapatios.com stating so. Your refusal will not be grounds to deny you the services you request.

4 · Who we share them with

The data you leave in the quote form is shared within the company with the sales and administrative staff who need it to serve you.

Polímeros Tapatíos may transfer personal data to related companies, external auditors, insurers, software providers, courier companies, human-resources consultants and public institutions — IMSS, INFONAVIT and SAT — when the relationship with the data owner requires it. Should there be a different transfer that needs your consent, you will be informed and asked before it is carried out.

5 · How to exercise your ARCO rights

You have the right to access your data, rectify it if it is inaccurate, cancel it when you consider it is not needed, and object to its use for specific purposes. You can also revoke the consent you have given us.

To exercise any of these rights, send your request to departamentodedatospersonales@polimerostapatios.com including:

• Your name and a means to communicate the response.
• A copy of an official ID proving your identity.
• A clear description of the data your right concerns and what you request.

We will respond within a maximum of twenty business days from the day we receive your request, and if it is appropriate it will take effect within the following fifteen business days. This procedure is free; you would only cover, where applicable, shipping or document reproduction costs.

6 · Cookies and tracking technologies

This site uses the browser’s local storage to remember the quote you build, as explained above.

Polímeros Tapatíos also uses cookies and web beacons to understand the behavior of site visitors: pages viewed, links followed and IP address. These technologies can be disabled from your browser settings; doing so does not prevent using the site, but it does prevent it from remembering the quote you were building.

7 · Changes to this notice

This notice may be amended to address legislative changes, internal policies or new requirements for providing our services. Any change will be published on this same page, with its update date. We suggest reviewing it periodically.

8 · If you believe your right was violated

You may turn to the National Institute for Transparency, Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data. You will find more information on its official site.
